Do you think you really know what's going on in the internet world. Who are the mover and shakers... and where do they come from???

On September 10, 2010, Infinity Capital Group, Inc., a Maryland Corporation, entered into a Plan and Agreement of Reorganization with 30DC, Inc., a Delaware corporation. In exchange for 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of 30DC, Infinity issued 60,984,000 shares of its restricted common stock. The shareholders of 30DC received 13.2 shares of common stock of Infinity for every one share of 30DC.

Upon closing Messrs. Edward Dale and Clinton Carey were both appointed to the Board of Directors of Infinity and Mr. Dale was appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Dale is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of 30DC. In addition, he is the manager and an equity holder of the majority shareholder of 30DC, Marillion Partnership. Mr. Carey is the Chief Operating Officer and a director of 30DC. Infinity, as a result of the transaction, became the owning entity of 100% of the outstanding common shares of common stock of 30DC and is the surviving corporation. For purposes of accounting, 30DC will be considered the surviving entity.

The business of 30DC is now the primary business of Infinity.

The Marillion Partnership, the majority shareholder of 30DC, will hold 37,224,000 shares of the common stock of Infinity, approximately 55.12% of the issued and outstanding common stock. Therefore, Mr. Dale has indirect beneficial ownership of the 37,244,000 shares held by the Marillion Partnership. Mr. Edward Dale will hold 1,848,000 shares of common stock directly.

The latest trend in Internet Marketing seems to be buying aged domain names for their SEO value. The term ‘aged domain’ defines a domain name that is pre-owned and isn’t brand new/unregistered.

It’s believed that an aged domain, with a high Google page rank, already has the quality back links and pages indexed, which gives you a running start against any competitors. This can save you doing all the initial ground work needed to compete with other Google listings.

Sounds like a good idea, but what does Google think? Is it white hat SEO? Or grey hat even?

How To Get Aged Domains

Aged domain names can be acquired may ways:

Contacting owners direct

Auctions – sold by owner

Auctions – Pre-release sold by registrar before they delete

Forums

Brokers

It’s getting harder and harder to source brand new domains with the right keywords or branding these days. Everyone is a wannabe internet marketer and many domains for popular niches are all being used… or at least registered. There’s a lot of dusty old sites out there as well.

You can expect to pay a higher price for an aged domain because of the groundwork already done with it. But it far beats the time, effort and money doing it all from scratch!

Does Google Care About Aged Domains?

I really don’t think Google will be moralising about whether it’s right or wrong to used an aged domain. As long as the site is relevant to search terms Google should be happy. If you are giving a site or domain a new lease of life it’s a positive thing. Google loves new, fresh content.

Google has all the necessary measures in place to see whether a website should rank for a particular keyword or phrase so as long as you follow the usual ethical techniques once you buy the domain then Google should be ok with it.

The aged domain could be a cost effective and time effective way of kickstarting a new business venture. As long as you are ready to roll with a product and have your marketing strategy in place you should get back the initial investment in no time.

In the 21st century the internet has matured into a dynamic, socially networked environment. Marketing needs to evolve with this as the old sales methods just don’t work anymore.

Gone are the days of a single page of copy convincing you that you need to buy their stuff. It just doesn’t work anymore. People are naturally resistant to being told what to do or having something sold to them.

You need to talk about what “I like” rather than “what I think you need”. Talking about yourself and what you like encourages a natural conversation and sparks the interest of your listeners.

Personalized marketing engages people to interact with you. Once someone is engaged in a conversation with you they are a lot more receptive to taking up your ideas. Of course they need to trust you too. Trust is built over time just by people getting to know you. You can also build trust by giving away something of value just to show how genuine you are.

But even what you give away has to be free of a sales pitch. It has to be about you and what you like.

Be enthusiastic about what you do and people will follow.

Goal setting is a real important part of strategic online marketing and I will be posting about a visualization technique that will make your goal setting even more powerful and guarantee success for your strategic online marketing.

Without a strategic online marketing plan you will drown in the deep waters of online marketing and never reach your financial goals. This is not an exaggerated statement to make. There are so many people out there trying to make money online with internet marketing but you have never heard of them. This is because they don’t understand how important strategic online marketing is and how it makes the difference between a page 1 rank and a page 10 rank on Google.

Success is dependent on your initial strategic online marketing plan and your willingness to commit to the effort required for making it profitable. You can get caught up one aspect of your strategic plan and end up ignoring the other pieces. Procrastination is a killer of any business and the internet is an even bigger and easier time waster. A strategic online marketing plan needs to be clear, concise and easy to implement.

Success is dependent on your initial strategic online marketing plan and your willingness to commit to the effort required for making it profitable

Internet Marketing is a business that is no different to any other business in the offline world. You need to research your product and understand your target market.

Once you get this you then construct a method of driving your customers to your website. This is strategic online marketing.
These are important steps to building your strategic online marketing plan.

Basic Goal Setting Steps For Strategic Online Marketing

People who set and write goals have a far greater chance of achieving those goals and becoming successful than those who didn’t.

Take out a piece of paper and pen and start thinking about what you want to accomplish and by when

Write down two goals you want to accomplish by the end of the month

Now write down two tasks that will get you closer to your goal that you can finalize by the end of the week

Write two more for next week and finish those

Include goal writing into your tasks every week to improve your productivity and your bottom line.

Goal setting is a real important part of strategic online marketing and I will be posting about a visualization technique that will make your goal setting even more powerful and guarantee success for your strategic online marketing.

Scanning the internet marketing world, there is a lot of talk about “not worrying” about the looming global recession.

You can see the fear in the way that these guys deliver their message. In my opinion, “not worrying” is an irresponsible way to deal with the current economic climate around the world. You can’t just stick your head in the sand and pretend that nothing has changed because things have changed and people really are worried about it. Go talk to your bank manager and find out about their current reality.

A lot of business people at the moment don’t know how to deal with this economic situation

A lot of business people at the moment don’t know how to deal with this economic situation. Their panic reaction is to encourage people to just spend without thinking, but this won’t happen. The average worker is sitting at home in a desperate situation. Interest rates are fluctuating, credit card debt is rising and they still have a family to feed. They won’t spend unless they have to.

There’s no need to be fearful about this current global crisis. What you have to focus on is providing value in whatever field you are operating in. Understand that your customers are tightening their belts and reducing spending. What they stop spending money on is stuff that they don’t really need. Luxuries go first and then non-essential stuff.

Show you value to your customers because you are a valuable assets and your customers can’t afford to live without you

You have to promote yourself as essential AND you have to provide that essential value that convinces your customers that they can’t afford to let you go. Your customers have to feel that they still need you to help them through this crisis. You won’t convey this message through panic or by playing on fears. You have to be confident and put yourself forward. Show you value to your customers because you are a valuable assets and your customers can’t afford to live without you.
