Having the confidence and self trust in yourself to get things done just may be the MOST IMPORTANT QUALITY YOU CAN EVER HAVE in this modern age.

Self Trust

Do you have it?

Not many do and it’s becoming readily apparent to me that this is the area that most entreprenuers need to get a handle on.

I mean, if you don’t feel like you can trust yourself to make the right decisions, pay the bills, follow through on your goals then you’ll end up nowhere… and depressed in the process.

Seriously, I should know – I remember a time in my life where I wasn’t as confident and “balls to the wall” as I am now.

And it sucks.

But here’s the deal.

Once you start to get this handled, things change… and it only takes some small successes in life for you to begin to flip this particular switch.

This is why you keep things simple.

If you want to understand how to keep things simple check out my previous post. I recommended you to establish a system for developing unbreakable confidence and solid skills.

==> Read how to keep it simple…

Look, I wouldn’t tell you this stuff if I didn’t think it were important, but I know this:

Having the confidence and self trust in yourself to get things done just may be the MOST IMPORTANT QUALITY YOU CAN EVER HAVE in this modern age.

Once I heard this statement "Confidence is a Feeling of Certainty" that's when I realized what the feeling is.

Confidence is a Feeling of Certainty

I heard this statement the other day and I finally “got it”.

I’ve always had problems with some hypnosis stuff where they ask you to remember a time when you felt confident. I was always thinking that confidence is some happy or euphoric feeling and I just couldn’t identify with that. Whenever I tried to “act” confident it was always fake. I would put on this outgoing happy persona which just isn’t me. Not that I’m a recluse or depressed or anything. But it just wasn’t real. Do you understand what I mean there?

Once I heard this statement “Confidence is a Feeling of Certainty” that’s when I realized what the feeling is. For me, I call it “dead certainty”. It’s a serious feeling of absolute, 100% knowledge that I am right. It’s not a negative feeling but a lot of times I won’t be laughing or happy. I know I’m right and I’m serious about it because I know it’s true.

This is real confidence. It’s not a “put on”, it’s not fake

Now I know how to approach those hypnosis exercises. To mentally put yourself into a state of confidence, feel certain of your success even when your knowledge suggests you should expect to fail. Confidence is not necessarily logical, it’s a belief that can go against the odds but provide massive rewards.

Lacking confidence can prevent you from performing in pressure situations. Often, the limiting factor of someone’s failure isn’t a lack of knowledge or practice, but rather the belief they have that they won’t perform well the first few times – a self-fulfilling prophecy.

A lot of times confidence comes with the result of a history of success. Being successful can build self esteem and increase confidence, but understand that you don’t actually need that real history to feel confident. Confidence is a feeling of certainty, a natural inner resource that can be summoned whenever you want it. Your mind can tell the difference between fantasy and reality. If you believe it, you will feel it.
