A lot of people complain about cab drivers, I call them cabbies, for various reasons.  It’s easy to look at the negative side all the time but are you missing a huge marketing opportunity by ignoring your local cabbie?

I’m  not talking about a tip for the ride you got.  I’m talking about tipping your local cabbies for the customers they are bringing to your business!  Have you even thought about this before?  There is a huge marketing opportunity driving around your local community and they know where everything is.  When someone hops in their cab and asks “What can you do in this town?” how do you think they respond?
Of course it takes the right business to use this idea but if you are creative it can apply to many different areas of business.  It just takes some lateral thinking and good communication with your cabbies.
This is very smart marketing at work and your net cost is… zero.  You are paying for performance, if they don’t bring the customer to your door you don’t pay them… you can’t lose money in this situation.
