Failure To Follow Through

Written By: coach on September 12, 2009 No Comment

Too many budding entrepreneurs with brilliant ideas never act on them because they focus on the risk, challenges, and possible failure of their plans.  They think about worst case scenarios which leads their minds to fear, anxiety, overwhelm, and finally inaction.

They defeated themselves before they even began, simply because they don’t know how to deal with obstacles.

There are an infinite number of creative ways to deal with obstacles. Usually people consider an obstacle a roadblock.  They stop… turn around… and go back to where they began. They simply give up.

Extraordinary people are those who are resourceful enough to spin every obstacle into an opportunity.  Anyone can learn to turn obstacles into opportunities. It’s done by managing your response to any situation.

The important distinction of a great entrepreneur is how they choose to perceive and respond to any situation.   Choose to interpret events in a way that empowers you and affirms your ultimate success.

Resources Come as a Direct Result of Resourcefulness

Since reality is subjective—everyone perceives things differently— so why not look at obstacles as part of the ride. Realise that roadblocks can be detours that take you in a new direction.
